Pennsylvania Approves $40M Budget Increase to Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program
The General Assembly passed a budget in June, to be signed by Governor Wolf that includes Senate Bill 1, which addresses an increased need statewide for educational alternatives to students and their families via an expansion of Pennsylvania’s tax credit scholarship programs.
BLOCS Announces $1M Donation to Saint Francis de Sales
Jim Downey, BLOCS Development Manager was on hand at Saint Francis de Sales School in Southwest Philadelphia for a check presentation for a $1M gift from an anonymous donor. The gift was made to the school through BLOCS’ EITC/OSTC Tax Credit program, which allows donors to redirect their state tax liabilities to award scholarship monies to students & families in need.
