Brian Hannan is a Partner in the Assurance practice in the Philadelphia office of PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is the Market Team Leader for PwC’s Insurance and Banking practice in Philadelphia. He has over 26 years experience in the insurance industry (ranging from primary property and casualty insurance companies to excess and surplus companies, reinsurers and health care insurers).

A representative list of Brian’s clients include: CIGNA, Transatlantic Reinsurance Company, Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, Everest Reinsurance Corporation, Security Capital Assurance, Inc., PennAmerica Insurance Group, Philadelphia Insurance Companies, Prudential Property and Casualty Insurance Companies, Eastern Alliance Insurance Group and NJM Insurance Group. Brian has assisted several companies in Initial Public Offerings and SEC and regulatory matters in addition to assessing internal control structures in connection with Sarbanes-Oxley registration.

In addition to his role as a Board of Directors at BLOCS. Brian is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He served as an instructor for the PICPA, as well as the firm’s national insurance industry training. He received a BBA in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame.
