Dorae Sudell is the Regional Product Director supporting the New York and New Jersey HealthPlan. In this role she is responsible to lead the strategy, development and management of the UnitedHealthcare E&I product road maps. She is able to do this by leveraging her vast operations experience and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.

Prior to her current position, Dorae was the Director, Account Management for the PA/DE HealthPlan at UnitedHealthcare Employer and Individual (serving 2-3,000 employees). She and her team of 7 Field Account Managers were responsible for every member’s experience with UnitedHealthcare including overall Service, Wellness and Communications as well as leading the deployment of Net Promoter Score (NPS) for customers and brokers, reviewing feedback and developing action plans to improve NPS in the PA/DE market.

Ms. Sudell began her career with UnitedHealth Group in 1994 at United Behavioral Health (UBH). She had multiple roles at UBH including Account Manager, where she was responsible for the renewal and overall satisfaction of her customers, and Manager, Account Management Operations, where she implemented the EAP, Work/Life, and Behavioral Health benefits for large, national employers. Additionally, she developed Policies and Procedures and providing training to support the Account Management Department.

In 2006, wanting to gain Medical experience, she joined National Accounts as an Implementation Project Manager. She worked with large, national Employers to implement all aspects of their Medical coverage.

In 2012, she joined the local HealthPlan as a Field Account Manager. This role reconnected her with her passion of educating members on their benefits and how to use them effectively.

She has a BS, Human Resource Management from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA and a MBA from Penn State. She serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for BLOCS. She resides in Plymouth Meeting with her husband, Greg, and two boys, Michael and Nick.
