Michael Prendergast is Senior Vice President and Senior Director at Capital One in the bank’s Commercial Banking Group. Capital One is a top 10 bank in the US specializing in commercial and consumer banking as well as credit card services.

With over 25 years of commercial lending and financial service experience in the Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware banking markets, Michael joined Capital One in 2015 to grow a local commercial banking presence for the bank in the Philadelphia market.

He currently serves on the following boards: Philadelphia Bankers Association (RMA) – Previous roles include: President, Treasurer and Education Chair; Sacred Heart Academy Bryn Mawr – Treasurer and Finance Chair; Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital Foundation – Trustee, Major Gifts Committee and Business Leadership Organized for Catholic Schools (BLOCS).

Michael completed his undergraduate degree in Economics and Computer Science at Saint Joseph’s University and MBA in Finance at Drexel University.  His financial planning designations include: CFP®, ChFC®, and CLU®.

He and his wife, Terri Prendergast, live with their two daughters in Devon, PA.
