Michael graduated from Abington High School and founded Classic Management Inc. in 1982. Michael is also founder and President of Young Capital, LLC, a Philadelphia-based commercial real estate investment firm, and Classic Management Incorporated (CMI), a residential property management and development firm of which Michael is sole stockholder. From 1969 to 1984, prior to founding CMI and Young Capital, Michael was vice president and general manager of Craig Fuel Company, a retail and wholesale petroleum product distributor serving Philadelphia and southern New Jersey.

In addition to his role on the Executive Committee of BLOCS, Michael is a board member for St. Martin de Porres School, and a sponsor of InnDwelling. Through personal sponsorships as well as through the Michael F. and Sue E. Young Foundation, Michael and his beloved late wife have helped provide high-achievement inner-city students with scholarships to the Philadelphia area’s more prestigious high schools.
